Who we are
Vampire Slayer ("we", "our", "us") helps you import and analyze conversation transcripts you choose.
What data we collect
- Account information: email and basic profile from your sign‑in provider (via Supabase) to authenticate your session.
- Google Drive access (optional): when you connect Google Drive via Google Identity Services, we request read‑only scopes to browse and import files you explicitly select.
- Content you provide: transcripts and files you upload or import, plus metadata (file name, size, type).
- Usage data: product analytics and logs (e.g., feature usage, errors) to operate and improve the service. IP address may be processed for security and rate‑limiting.
How we use data
- Provide core features: import, parse, and analyze transcripts you select.
- Maintain security, monitor reliability, and prevent abuse.
- Communicate about service changes, security notices, and support.
Google data and scopes
When you connect Google Drive, we use Google Identity Services to obtain an access token only for the scopes you consent to. We request the minimum necessary scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly
We use these scopes solely so you can browse files with Google Picker and import the ones you select. We do not request edit or delete permissions.
Limited Use & Google requirements
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the service (e.g., hosting providers) under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Data storage & retention
- Access tokens: Drive tokens from Google Identity Services are used client‑side and not persisted on our servers beyond the import session.
- Imported content: transcripts and analysis results you choose to save are stored so you can revisit them. You can delete them at any time in the product or by contacting us.
- Retention: we retain data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as required by law. On account closure or deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period.
Sharing & processors
We use trusted service providers (e.g., cloud hosting/database) to run the service. They process data on our behalf under contracts that require confidentiality and security. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method is 100% secure; we continually improve our safeguards.
International transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK users may contact their data protection authority. California users may have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information.
Children’s privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Cookies & similar technologies
We may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for authentication, security, and core functionality. We do not use third‑party advertising cookies.
Data deletion & contact
You can remove transcripts in the product. To request account deletion or data export, click on "Delete Account" button in your settings account.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal/security reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the product. The “Last updated” date above indicates the latest revision.
